The fact its a botting forum means more than likely people use this bot to farm gold.. which then gets sold so yes quite a majority of people should know, weather or not they inform Mega is another story.
It really depends on the server. On high pop servers i have seen the price as low as .15 per k. On low pop it ranges from .3 - .4 per k. Do some google searching to find out about your server
