Gold in Cataclysm (beta)

To those of you who have access to the Cataclysm beta:

Is the gold amount from quests and monster loot increased drastically in Cataclysm like it was from Classic -> TBC and TBC -> WotLK?

I'm thinking of stockpiling like 1m gold before the expansion hits, but if gold supply increases a lot, this will be less attractive.

reached lvl 82 on beta, the gold from quests are increased indeed also from mobs
same thing happened when wrath came

i think its depending how blizzard add new mounts, enchants, boe epics, archievs etc. More rare thing cost more golds and its increasing price of golds. Next thing is how fast, how hard golds can will be golds earned.

Please stop asking for others BETA time. You know darn well that if you had a BETA key, the likelihood of you "lending" it to anyone would be one in a million. Not trying to be rude, but 38% of the posts in this thread is asking for a beta key.


ON-TOPIC: What I would like, is if someone who botted and sold gold in TBC could come in this thread and tell us what happened to the business when WotLk came out, as we can assume that Blizzard is going to do the same over again. In a year from now, we'll be remembering back when we got $1/k and being sad that were only getting 10 cents per 10 thousand gold.

We're end-game wotlk. Everything is out, everything has been purchased, there's nothing left to spend gold on. Noone needs it anymore so they just stockpile. When CATA is out it'll be back in demand for a while.

When wotlk was out, gold price was about 4,4-3,6 euro per 1k, now is between 1,6-2,5 euro per 1k. Back in TBC times I selling about 7-15 euro per 1k, it was great times

Well.. Ive played cata now in about 1 week.. and its really hard to tell what you can spend money on as you can only reach level 83 atm..
But i must say there is still ALOT of bugs on the servers..

worgans arent working either.. lol
But Goblins start place is SO epic..
Flying in az is NICE..

and the best city ive ever seen is orgrimmar... Dammm its cool..
