Gold fee AH?

Hey, I looted a "good" mempo's the other week and tried to sell it for as much as possible(waiting 1day before re-auction). Today I put it at ~790mil, got it sold 3h later. Problem is that I only got 415mil!?!? How much is the fee at auction house? Because I feel like blizzard took a pole and brutally inserted it in my anus.

The fee is 15% . So the fee for selling something with 790mil should have been ~118mil . If i may ask, what was the starting bid ? I heard some time ago of some exploit that allowed people to purchase items for the starting bid instead of buyout. But i thought it was outdated. If your starting bid was the same as buyout, then blizz fcd up somewhere.
 
I don't think it was the "buyout for starting bid" exploit then. Even if it was purchased at 589mil , the fee would have been 88mil gold, and you should have received 500mil at least for it. If you're sure of the price you set the item to be sold for (790mil) , contact their support, system might have glitched on you :/
 
I'm 99% sure that I put the price on 789mil because I put it between one helmet which was slightly better and slightly worse they were between 700mil and 800mil
 
Theres a higher chance you typed the price wrong than the AH being bugged.

I would go with user error on this one, but you could probably try to ticket bliz to get more info.
 
yeah, let them look into your account, might have been a mistake!
