Gold farming alternatives to herb gathering?

Everyone knows herb gathering is the best GPH as of now. But it's risky as fuck with greedy players and botters alike reporting you on sight. For that reason I consider it super high risk and unreliable for long-term. What are other gold farming strategies that come close to herb gathering in GPH? Let's think of a good alternative that doesn't get you banned as fast.
 
About 2 weeks ago, i gathered "GHOST IRON ORE". The GBH is rather low. (Around 1500g/h) But there is no1 in pandaria, rarely atleast.

Other than that, its hard. normal gold farming is not what it ones was. back in the days, there was 100´s of diffrent ways to make gold, today there are only a few.

No one here will share there way of farming gold.

What about dungeon grind? Shouldn't some dangs be able to get you 5k/h? That's to compare with 10-15k/hour while herb gathering + prices of herbs will drop eventually.

Dungeon Grinds are even more risky than gathering herbs.

How come? You'd usually never get reported because no one cares to. Back in the days -when I wasn't a honorbuddy user yet- I used to report gather bots because they PISSED me off stealing herbs right in front of my face and just out of competition. However I don't remember once reporting dungeon bots as you never get to see them. No legit players do dungeon grinds. As you step into herb gathering though you'll be tanking reports from greedy players. The bot movements and pathing are too obvious you wouldn't need more than 5 seconds to tell one is botting.
 
I had 5 accounts running HOL. at less than 1K GPH. Lasted 3 days. Dungeon farming is not worth it.
 
All gathering accounts, wich was botting at the same time. Survived.

i have lost 0 gathering accounts.
 
Running 6 legion accounts herbing atm. getting another 3 today.
Nothing beats the sweet herb.

Yeah it looks like. I've just checked 3 gathering bots on my main server which I reported back when I wasn't a honorbuddy user yet -don't think this applies to rules- AND also asked other legit herbalists to report them, still playing 3 weeks later haha. They never replied to my whispers. From my observations they farm around 12-16 hours/day. Seeing them not banned for so long is what got me to bot myself. But idk my 2 accs got banned right away then I put HB overnight lol.

However the server they're running on isn't a heavy raiding server so herbs aren't in high demand the herb price is also considerably lower, so that may have something to do with it.

What are you guys doing to get all these multiple accounts? buying it with in game gold from farming? im wanting to get like 3 accounts to just suicide gather bot

yes pretty much. whatever you make reinvest into more bots or equipment and see how long youll last.
 
What are people's plans once 7.1 patch hits? The herb and ore prices are going to tank with bloods being used to get mats from vendor. People reckon a possible 30% dip in AH prices. What kind of affect will that have on gold prices?

FYI.. For those who have not read the rules of this forums.. Reporting botters will get you perm banned from this forum..

If you find other botters in your farm area.. just realm hop.. its so easy to do now.. I always manage to find a realm that is clear in the area.. I just have my bots set when X players are in X distance for X time.. realm hop

Or just use a different profile that farms a different area. Its not like everyone has to follow that same route in the same direction.

The Broken Isles have a place for every one of us <3 You can take the botter out of the broken isles, but you cant take the broken isles out of the botter.

Don't ever come to a botting forum and say that you report botters. It doesn't matter if it's in the past...DON'T DO IT
 
Now that the OP i guess this doesnt matter.

But for other reading. Fishing is a good alternative to Herbing. The fish prices are steady and its a constant supply of gold.
 
Or farm silk it has decent prices. And thankyou for bannng that asshat nothing pisses me off more then people who report botters. They dont harm anything you do in a normal environment so why waste your time. I lied botters reporting botters pisses me off more.

Do you have a plugin for this? Sounds like an awesome idea. I know its implemented with Alishas profiles, but I did not like that version, did not think it works, and i didnt like her profiles/botbase. I remember there was a realhopper for HB2, not sure how to do it now though. I have many bots going right now and more to come, and any way to prevent detection, and increase efficiency is good news.
