Going to start botting POE

Bot what you wanna bot, what is in your mind the best.

Efficient areas? will always be mapping imo, except for some wanky wanky builds.
 
Will you be botting the new Talisman HC league?

Tony, have you had success botting HC?

I know its not recommended or utilized for HC. But with POE and the currency system, if you can get a build that just farms for currency and stashes it away even if you die and had the discipline to get anther character up and running, you can still accumulate quite a bit of currency. Or... am i just being a little too optimistic?
 
So do more people that bot POE just farm non league softcore or league softcore?

Just anything other than HC?
 
Most botter's farm standard (I think). Ambitious ones will go on league because the prices of exalts will be higher. But you need to gear the character, level it up... it takes time.

The way you wrote about HC doesn't have any sense. before you'll be able to level up new character so it can farm, days will be wasted. If you want to bot on HC, you need to have high level character, make it ultra durable and set chicken to like 50%. But then... giving the character high life and armour pool will make your DPS lay on the ground which means lower drops = less currency. Less Currency = Less money and higher prices of exalts wont catch this loss.

Dunno, I make a killing botting the first month or so of HC leagues. High demand low supply does wonders. (And getting a bot toon setup to run low maps is ezpz)

What build would you recommend? I am not trying to sell currency but I would love to farm it to get my main geared up.
 
Split arrow ranger wrecks for me. Gonna try a cyclone build and see how that farms...
 
I think tornado shot with a defensive build would work quite nicely.

But this is my first time botting so I will probably get owned. lol

Which build would be the easiest for the normal combat routine.

So I don't need to change much, since I don't know how to code. Is there any suggestions you would /can give me/us?

Anything that "pierce" is a good choice, arc can sometimes be harmful VS. Vaal affixes (allies cannot die).

So :
- Split shot
- Tornado Shot
- Ball Lightning
- Rain of Arrows/BladeFall
- Spectral throw

Some others skills might work too (frostblades, lightning arrow or even ice shot e.g.) but it depends on your way of botting.

Ok understand that, and thx. I mainly need the bot for mapping thought.
So the way to go is ranger^^

You might have a idea to deal with reflect dmg monster as a ranger?

Atm I play a fire totem build cuz the reflection will be on the totem and not on me directly.

Lifeleech, armor/evasion ;D The reflection is diminished by those, with like 4-8% life leech you can easily ignore the reflection (vaal pact ofc, else it doesn't work since the leech is delayed)
