Greetings,

Please read this mail carefully, as we would like to see your issue addressed as fast as possible.

An investigation of the World of Warcraft account XXXXXXXX has produced evidence that the account has been accessed by someone who is not allowed to use it. We have therefore temporarily suspended all access to the account to prevent further abuse. In order to resolve the investigation, please contact us with the following information via the webform:

Account Name: The account name you are using to login.
CD Key: original WoW game CD-key (we cannot accept Expansion CD keys).
Your Secret Question and Answer.
Name: the full name that the account was created with.
Address: The address information given when the account was created.
Zip/Postal Code: The zip/postal code that was given when the account was created.

The CD key must be from the World of Warcraft box you used when you registered your account. If you have more than one copy of the game, and are unsure which key is the correct one, please include them all. There is no need to include the keys marked "Trial Edition". Expansion CD key is not accepted.

Account compromises are usually the result of the registered player of the account sharing his or her login information or playing on a computer that has a virus. In order to make certain that your computer’s security has not been compromised, we recommend that you read the information provided on the following page:
Blizzard Support

Please remember that it is your responsibility to keep your login information confidential. Any account that is registered to your name may not be shared with anyone except for one minor, of whom you are acting as a parent or guardian. You are also responsible for every use of your login information, whether authorized or not.

It also is the responsibility of the account holder to maintain the security of the account. Excessive or repeated failure to ensure the security of the account can result in warnings and, in extreme cases, permanent account closure.

Checked all my accounts, were all locked.

Sent an email webform for each one and this is what they answered for the first 4:

Account: XXXXXXXXX
Type of violation: Use of third party software
Details of incident: After an investigation of your report, we have discovered evidence of third party software being used on the account.
Consequences for account: Warning placed on account and account suspended for 48 hours.

Greetings,

We are writing to inform you that we have, unfortunately, had to add a warning to your World of Warcraft account and temporarily suspend it. It is with regret that we take this type of action; however, it is in the best interests of the World of Warcraft community as a whole and for the integrity of the game. After your suspension has expired, you will be able to access the World of Warcraft servers again.

Please note that should any further violations of our Rules and Policies occur, this incident will be taken into consideration when determining the consequences to your account. This could include further warnings, account suspension or account termination.

We strongly suggest you review our current Rules and Policies to avoid further action in the future, these can be found at:
Blizzard Support

You can also find further information on the different levels of account penalty we can apply at: Blizzard Support

Also note, it is necessary for you to log into the game after the 48 hour suspension has expired; this will update the status of your account displayed on the Account Management page.

Please do not reply to this email as you will receive an automated response. If you have any further enquiries regarding your account status, please use the webform at the following address:

And for the fifth:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Greetings,

Your account was permanently suspended due to use of third party software and exploitive behaviour, which is against the Terms of Use (World of Warcraft Europe -> Legal Documents -> Terms of Use ). We take this issue very seriously and would not look to re-activate this account under any circumstances.

It is with regret that we have to take this type of action, however it is in the best interest of the World of Warcraft community as a whole, and for the integrity of the game, that we have cancelled your access to the World of Warcraft servers.

Please be advised that sanctions in relation to this matter will not be taken against any new accounts you may wish to create, but the characters from your cancelled account will remain irretrievable. If you should wish to create a new account, you will need to obtain a new and unused CD key with a retail copy of the game.

Conclusion: 4 accounts still suspended and one banned.
Any tips for further use of the remaining 4 accounts after suspension ends?

Looking at the recent reports from the community, it's a sign that Blizzard has a new method to track bot's. I hope I'm mistaking.

This doens't seem like a ban

you had 7 accounts, but did you also had 7 Accounts running or just the 5?

And sry for it, "lost" 28 today :)

Had 7 accounts running on that pc, all botting with GB-1, just 5 got shutdown.

daskoma - 1 accounts is allready banned, the rest 4 are no longer locked, but suspended.

Remember that some of those letters state temporary situations. When you get a suspension, they simply change your password, and make you change it again. BUt the account will remain *frozen* for a minimum of the time they state (normally 3days). But don't be alarmed if it lasts a couple days longer. But DO go thru the change password process on your end, and write the new passwords down.

I've had a few instances where I get msg'd by GM's... asking about my multiple toons on the same server and I simply start talking about multiboxing. That makes them usually go away. But still keep a careful eye out for another day or 2.

Sorry for your loss... don't give up ... Remember the Dark side has better tasting cookies.

I'm no expert at account bannings...But that looks like every other spam email I get :\ it might be a false email. Check the email source.

I thought they didn't ask for this kind of stuff through email.

Hey jawn, none of my accounts had the password changed.

Gigglebyte the email is not fake, first I checked my accounts on wow-europe.com and seen them locked then my emails, as for the info they require, I only provided my ID copy, no cd-key/secret question or anything else.
