GM asking ?

I want to notice that on my second time when I was "HB questing in ULDUM" on two different characters, I have got whisper from unknown players for me with ask if I want some blue JC made ring.

For me its very suspicious since one whisper was from lvl 2 mage....why lvl 2 mage would offer blue JC ring to someone that dont know...

Guys do you think It can be some GM check if you are not a bot ?

Or I am just too paranoid...

Probably not, there are people and gold seller that PM people of high/max level about different thing DW

Just because I am not paranoid doesn't mean they are not out to get me.

On a serious note: I don't think its a GM. You also can't get banned from not answering people. I ignore people all the time when I am playing legit.

its and goldseller/goldfarmer/hacker/scamer/idontknowewhat in the addon badboy you can set (ignore/remove /w from lvl"") and than you can coiche witch lvl you want and the lvl is always 1

Yes I have that addon, and I am blocking alot of lvl 1 /w but this two whispers was from lvl 2 and second was from lvl 85...thats why I got scared

dont be scared when an GM wants you antention the use Gm power! or an lvl 85 :3

Gms dont pretend to be players, or use "evil" methods. They are employees and are only allowed to use legit and nice methods to do their dirty job. Just like cops.

This. I doubt Blizzard employs enough GMs to sit there in-game and PM people in Uldum. If they did PM like that, it would likely come from from a GM (little message box and all) so they could do it with their own messaging system. Then again I can't imagine Blizzard employs enough GMs to do that either.

I doubt Blizzard will EVER allow their GM's to pretend to be players when they do their jobs, because then some dishonest players will start bullying everyone else into giving them their gold and ores pretending to be GM's.
