That's ugly sorry, basically he was saying how he used Honorbuddy to bot rotations and that's why he was able to avoid the banwave but me, which I did use to bot garrison cause it is tedious, was banned for the bot movement. Do you by any way have the ability to answer if this is indeed why? He said he had talked to a GM said "I'm rotation botting" and the GM said something like "OK, and.."

OK, but there's also many others on fourms such as "The Buddy Forum" and "Code Deception" that are claiming that they also got away from this banwave because they never botted a task such as gathering or other. So if I put the pieces together your "Confirm nor deny" would 'confirm' the theory. But say it's all just chance that some got banned and some didn't could we see bans for users that are using the bot to do just rotations or that didn't get hit by the wave. I intend to come back to WoW

For instance (You can't answer this) but soapbox rotations has not been software detected and they are barely any bans from their software.

I don't intend on botting in the future. I am curious as to why my friend would not have been banned. I want to play WoW in the future but if it's a biased game where these users play with the bots and I don't and are topping the charts, getting into my guild raids without actually knowing anything about the game how's that something I want to do in the future? I'm just looking if action will be taken against the users who use the bot for rotations as it was taken against users who bot gather
