Getting Started

Hey, I'm brand spanking new to honorbuddy and gatherbuddy. I bought an auth key and really wanna give it a whirl. I'm used to Pirox so bear with me.

I dowloaded a few profiles and put them in the right folder. I started Gatherbuddy and activated it correctly. I refreshed the profile list, and started the bot.
It won't mount. And it keeps repeating in a won't mount loop.
I have button one of my action bar set to my mount macro, but nothing happens. I've seen other posts similar to this and they speak of 'action bar 3' but in my main action bar I only have 2. All the other action bars are labeled as "right action bar" or "bottom left action bar", but no "action bar 3".

Anyway, I can't get it to work, and would really like to get started.
Has anyone seen any other threads that cover what I'm concerned about? I'm so new to all this that I don't even know the right thing to search it seems. I've looked for what I know, but don't find much.

my suggestion is not to use GB1 Standalone, but to download honorbuddy and select Gatherbuddy2 from the dropdown menu, theres a less configuration thats needed, and i think you'll be much better off.

I've tried downloading honorbuddy and logging in the same way, and all I get is:

"You have not selected a valid instance of WoW to attach to! ..."

Again, if all of this is covered somewhere else, please noob slap me and send me on my way.

ok, WoW Needs to be running in 32bit mode and in directx9 mode, as well as Windowed mode.
once you get all 3 of these things done, you need to be completely in game before starting honorbuddy.
make sure when logging into honorbuddy, your using your key as your username with no password.

Coming from Pirox, at least after I've gotten the initial setup problems fixed, this is amazing.
It just ... knows what to do. I don't understand it fully yet, but it's awesome

I'll digg deeper as time goes on. Thanks agian for the input.

make sure you check the guides section, there's tons of tutorials there, as well as the wiki, and you can find the link for that up at the top of the page.

I wanted to go ahead and post the most recent problem I've been having.

It seems the bot will just stop periodically and say something along the lines of:
"No data for Azeroth_37_37.etm"

I have to stop it and start it again. Any ideas?

Okay, here's a problem I'm having. Anyone know what all the errors like:

"File: Feral.cs Line: 207 Error: Cannot convert lambda expression to type 'TreeSharp.Composite' because it is not a delegate type"

are for, and or why they're coming about?

make a completely new install of honorbuddy, and give that a try.
