Getting started...

Hey

For starters I am really frustrated with this website and it's services! I have bought the product, recieved numerous of mails in my hotmail about registration etc. I have a forum account (as you can see). What I don't understand is how to activate the key to my forum account or create another account on another website of whatever. This website is so disoriented.

I know this sounds very confusing, but please be patient! I'm wondering what I'm supposed to do next. I also got some message about beta or summit when I started the honorbuddy program.

First, take it easy. You have to download the latest HB client. Once u do, u need to use the key they emailed you and copy / paste it into the USERNAME, leave the password alone, then hit log in. Next you need a profile, which you can find by going to the forums, make sure u read it completely as some are a little more complex than others. If you just want to pvp, youre in LUCK, since all u need to do is choose BG bot beta and hit start! I hope this can help u a bit, at least to get you started. I understand that it seems confusing, but its not you just need to read it well thats all ^_^. Happy Botting!

While I've got you here answering my questions I may as well ask you another one:
Are some quests not compatible with the bot? For once there's a quest in borean tundra, at the valliance keep, where one's spos to catch flying undead things with a net and then kill them. It seems that my bot cannot reach them and it just stand still at the very same place everytime I restart it.

Ye some quests just dont work...usually these are not included into the profiles.
But Afk questing is not possible atm...it may run flawlessly for hours bot sometimes you have to help.

depends on what profile you are imo

as an example Kick's profiles are about 98-99% afk

Tony, when you say that to new people, shouldn't you also include that with grinding profiles (the ones from Kick that are 98-99% AFKable) should also be used with caution because they are higher risk? I would figure you don't want new users to blindly follow what you posted and get themselves banned cause they grinded an area for 10 hours straight and got themselves reported.

I'm currently using Kick's questing profile 68-80. Apart from the earlier mentioned quest it does fine. Altoids, what do you recommend for leveling then?

I can actually help you with this! I'm assuming your trying to log onto your bot, honorbuddy, in the username slot type in your key that you've recieved and leave the pw slot empty and you're good to go. I can also recommend you the Kick's profile pack. Way awesome!

So you read the 10 other threads about the same user error?
anyway, according to your join date, you're in the keys system, meaning you need to use your key as Username, and leave the password field blank.

Have you downloaded the latest version of honorbuddy? (Not the beta)
What windows version are you running?

im running windows 7. and is there a way to tell if its beta or not >?

1)must be logged in the game world before running Hb

2)check for a "ghost" Hb process on your task manager

Well at the downloading section there are two available downloads, one says BETA, and the other is a finished product. Download the finished one, you'll notice the downloading rate.

ok now im getting really mad. i logged into the game it tells me an error accured. Says my authentication is wrong which is bull$hit. i paid for this freakin thing and it doesnt work. i wish this was more user friendly.

both are compatible with the latest wow(official) patch/version

his error has nothing to do with Hb version(beta or stable)
