Getting item of pokestop. Failed. Try Again.

I get this error about every 3 mins when I get to a poketop.

It looks like once the poketop renews itself, I carry on. I still can catch a pokemon or two while I get that message so I know it's not a soft-ban. Any help would be appreciated.
