Getting disconnected

I get randomly disconnected from WoW when running the bot. (gatherbuddy mode)
Sometimes it can go on for 5mins before dicsonnecting and then after logging in again it can work for 20hrs.

click "Settings & Tools" then turn off, Use Random Mount and Find Mount Automaticly, and type in the name of the ground mount and flying mounts you want the bot to use. and try it again.

Ok will test it now, i've had my mount id in but guess "automatic" got boxed in after an update.
You say mount name, should that be used or is it still the mount id?

Believe it or not, I believe you might be getting hit with some new WoWserver-side code (thanks for the info, Bambam922!). I believe this because, you d/c right after mounting in each of the logs. The condition can be triggered regardless of what bot you're running (since the d/c code is actually triggered by the WoWserver).

Let's try to resolve the issue by doing this...
Somewhere I read that griffon's trigger the WoWserver-side code more than other mounts. Could we try using a mount other than a griffon, and see if that repairs your problem?

If no joy..
Then your solution lies in using the Honorbuddy Beta. I hesitate to recommend this because: 1) it is beta code and going to have its own set of issues, and 2) there is no forum support if you use it.


Please let us know if either one of these repairs the problem for you.

I've now setup both of the bots with different mounts, also turned off the plugins on one.
Hope it works

Having this same prob don't have logs atm due to kids but I changed the mounts and turned off plugins still nothing keeps d/cing after mounting in beta and reg HB

Ok have tested some different mounts, The albino drake also made it disconnect.
The Rocket and Panther seem to work but I got a new problem.

I use a full Outland profile to gather, whenever the bot goes in the empty space between Netherstorm and Hellfire Pen.
It think it stuck and disconnects.

New log.

Running with plugins or without doesn't change anything.

Edit I use this profile and the disconnect is at this spot. (moved the character back and it happen at the same spot again)

now THATS interesting, ill pass it along to our devs to see if theres something we can do, but in the meanwhile if you stay away from that profile and use the other mounts are you ok?

Yeah I've moved on to only area maps for now, the panther mounts are working great.
