General wow settings for HB

Ive been using HB a long time and ive seen some different suggestions to make HB work better. I am wondering if there is a specific list of settings to make HB run the best.
Vertical sync? Does it matter?
Frame locking wow to your enyo speed?
Directx ___ Which is best?
