Gear / Build upgrade after Paragon 100

Is it worth upgrading a bot when it reaches Paragon 100?

Starting gear was 30-40m and is right now doing 500gph on MP1 with no problems (Frenzy/Rend build) 45k unbuffed dps, 40k HP, 700 All rez, stormshield as offhand

Should i invest like 100m, is it worth it? What should i buy? Maybe move to higher MPs? What you guys think, where can i min/max it

Why on earth are you using a shield? It's not like they die often if you go dual-wield or 2h. I put like 125m on all of my barbs and for that I got 220k dps, 45k hp and 500 AR, doing roughly 600k gold/h and 700 items/h.

30-40m and 125 there is a bit of a difference there, no? i doubt a barbarian geared for 30-40m will be surviving well enough with two one-handers or with a two-hander

Agreed what on earth are you thinking. My monk had 155k dps buffed running MP3 getting 450k/g an hour. (before he got banned this last wave) Throw that shield away and get a skorn. Or go get two one handers, 45k unbuffed damage is junk. You wasted 30-40m on your gear, because with those stats your basically a fresh 60 that just dinged. Go to diablo progress website and look at some of the barbs there.

500gph and 600gph isn't that much of a difference
but 700 items per hour is nice, i have around 450 right now, but the last time inerval is less than an hour long. So i need to check this later for more accurate results.

WoTB + instanity kills elites in few seconds on MP1, so that is probably not so bad. White trash dies with 1 Rend.

what build are you using on barbs? any special tricks like IK set to generate more fury or smth, to keep up with the WoTB?

yes it was 30-40m, this gear is probably ATM around 20m

with this same build and gear the bot was doing Inferno back when there was no MPs without deaths. Maybe ocasionally. Game was thougher back then than it is now. I tried 2 weapons and WW but id didn't go well...
It also has alot of IAS nad LoH to regain HP back. Gimme a good Barb bot from diabloprogress. Human players have different gear since they play better and faster than bot. I don't belive a glasscanon barb is a good bot. Maybe for MP0 or MP1, but you won't be any faster than mine. Cuz killing elites in 1 second or 5 seconds is not that much big of a differance...

Whats your stats for gph and iph ?

But yeah maybe i should try invest like 100m and move up to MP3 with WW build without shield?

10-15m/barb, roughly 90-100k DPS buffed w/ 40-50k life, 600-700 all res, they die every so often to arcane/chain packs but never the less they still get decent turnovers.

yeah its possible with DHs or something similar but they are surely glasscanon (0 resist, low life). Can they kill Azmodan without deaths on Inferno? Can you do MP3 ?

for 30m right now you get around 60k dps unbuffed (80k buffed, 150 berserk mode), 700-800 all resists, 45-50k life, 1.2k LoH Barb bot with a 1h weapon and a storm, its hard to beat that, every pieces are from 500k to 5m. You probably can't even get andariels visage with a socket for 2m

wrong ^^ i got barbs ... 700 ar 80 k dps buffed 100 k with bers ... 30-40 k life much loh ... i wont do mp3 its not worth it imo

so i am getting some mixed advices, some say its better to spend less and do MP0, some say its better to spend 100m and do higher MPs...

Is 3-6% LifeSteal enough for MP3 with 100k dps?

how is this possible, 2 totally different budgets but only minor differances in outcome?

2m on gear aint impossible, but if you want a skorn you better but lets say 3mil on the skorn, 2mil on the other (each piece for arround 100k-) you just got to know what you need, more str? more vit? more ar?, with enough dps you dont need that much in ress, i have arround 400~. life steal on belt (for barbs) is a must, and if you are running ACT 3, I would recommend MP0 (same loot as MP1+) and if you want to get cheap items, try to get arround 20k~ extra from health globes and atleast 1 item with pickup radius (5 yard+) and if you want it cheap, get pickup on legs/chest/shoulders (those who do not have CC/CD/MS/AS)

dude sorry to tall you this but your a noob when it comes to AH and building a barb

i had a barb that items alone sold for over 6.750B on privet trade's now i bought a new set for him in 20mil and his running mp1 on 150K unbuffed DPS 50K HP and 600AR with CC-58 and CHD-555%(funny number) and that is with a 20mil investment on the new gear
i dont know where you are living but in our world 120mil can do a 250K DPS barb easy

i never said you can't build 250k DPS barb, infact i believe you can get even more for that gold, specialy with Skorn, but hell no with weapon + shield, thats why my DPS is so low...

AND THAT WAS MONTHS AGO man, prices and demand were different... So this gear is now obviously worth much less then it was, even survivability changed, and drops were not doubled, like they are now
AND i've sold for more than your 7B gold...

We are discussing weather should I invest 120m into gear, will i get more out of it or no? Cuz for 120m i can "almost" get another copy of D3 and that mean Loot x2.

So if i don't get like 1k GPH and 900 IPH with 120m investment, then its not worth it, So shame is on you where you spent that much gold on just a bot, which can be banned any time xD


This is not a BOT DPS contest but finding a ways to make profits more efficient in terms to investment...

45k unbuff?? every last one of my bots have 100k minimum unbuff, you do not understand how much faster 120k dps is from 45k. there are many aspects of speed, pickup radius, ilvl, dps.

yeah i know, its an old gear. But with a storm its very hard to get 100k unbuffed with a budget build. Storm was a must for pre 1.0.5 botting at least from what i've tried back then

I have max movement speed and around 40% block...

Mine still has 500gph constantly with 45k unbuffed, buffed goes to 70k and with berserk to 150k
