GB2 - Do druids herb in flight form?

Just wondering if druids herb in flight form. I am thinking about leveling one up to maximize my herb gathering rate, and it would be awesome if the bot could gather without aggroing mobs and stay in flight form for maximum herbing speed :P

Anyone know?
 
yeah they do but they will fit if aggro they dont just keep moveing..still works very well i make over 100k a week, on gb1
 
Ugh they won't just fly up if they get aggro? Isn't it pretty bot behavior for any druid to switch out of flight form while herbing....
 
yes, it is very bot like behavior.. especially if you're a tauren

And dang. It might not be worth it to level a druid all the way from 1-85 if it can't take full advantage of the flying mount herbing. I was leveling him with the thought of gathering whiptail in Uldum to avoid the crocs, but if it just shape shifts out to attack then, then it seems kinda pointless.
 
because tauren herb gather time is 0.5 seconds.. so there is really NO reason to EVER come out of flight form..
 
Ahh I see I wasn't aware. So what happens if GB gathers the herb and THEN gets into combat? Will it fly to the next node, or attack the aggro?

I find that in Uldum a lot of the time my char will get into combat, but still be able to loot the herb before the target reaches me.

I am not Pro at Wow but i got my druid 350 Item Level and he cant Handle Anything Besides Vash. and in uldum flight form makes you hit water since GB doesnt flight up when there is another herb around just goes strieght to it which makes it land in water and you log off due to its being a retard in the water. My Advice is stay away from druids they suck. DK's and Pallys all the way.
 
i have never ever had a problem with water with my druids in Uldum.. and i use all 333 or lower gear on all my druids and can handle 2 or 3 adds in any zone.. you must be doing something wrong.

Having said that, yes, it IS annoying when the bot herbs THEN gets into combat and pops out of flight form to fight. It's been complained about lots.

Are you sure you aren't talking about GB1? GB2 will detect if you are in the water and try to resurface before mounting.
 
The Bot is doing something wrong then. Guess i have the unique version of GB that cant fight for shit with druids and Aims for the water.
 
GB2 did the same. I dont farm anywhere but vash on my druids. They cant kill mobs worth of shit. Or i just have bad spells setup on 6 7 and 8 but eh no one posts What to put there on a druid so i just put Bosslands or hawkers thing for balance druid. Which blowz hardcore but eh what can yah do.

used them the first time, when i tried GB1 ... not perfect, but working ... my druid was lvl83 and he was flying in TH, so the mobs were 83-85 and he died every 3rd or 4th fight (too many adds)
