GB or HB for non flying gather?

Assuming you are high enough, these are great for farming and skilling up.

I disagree with this, Gatherbuddy faces too many obstacles with walking and doesn't know how to get around them - compared to HB2 which will guarantee every node it passes due to meshes.

hmm...i have to disagree with this too
i already leveled (herbalism) on 6 toons without major problems
you need a really good profile tho and low value on harvesting range

I suppose I can see how it would work, and there's no denying Gatherbuddy is amazing when flying is made possible.
I've just had a better experience with my own mining and herbing profile as you can pinpoint the node hotspot and be sure that HB can figure out how to get to it.

I suppose herbalism isn't as much an issue, as that can grow up and around normal land. But where mining is concerned, it's mostly around a certain mountain/rocky terrain that HB is better at figuring out how to get around.

I must say gb is pretty horibble when it comes to ground mounts.
Ive leveled mining/herbalism on 8 toons with hb
