Gathering with a DK

Hello, i recently got a botting account setup, and i boosted a DK to level 100 and i'm gonna use it to gather herbs.

I Just have a few questions regarding this:

1-What's the best spec for a deathknight (Survivability and Damage)
2-Is it better to gather at level 101-102 or level it to 110 and then start gathering in Suramar?

Unholy is the best spec if you configure it properly/get the right talents

Starlight is always better
 
It's best to just level to 110 and start gathering. I went to Suramar as soon as I hit 110 and had no problems killing mobs on my blood DK even though the ilvl was only 770. I've been botting there for a few weeks now and everything is still going smoothly.

Its because i heard people you can bot straight at 101 in terms of gathering since the mobs scale to your level anyway
