I must say this is just useless , i got 10 accounts right now and i have been farming " skinning only " for the past months , i tryed gatherbuddy2 today since after the other 3298074237 accounts i had got banned some months ago because of gatherbuddy i wanted to try again to see if was "fixed" ....well in less than one hour 5 of the accounts got banned using gatherbuddy2 , i had 10 accounts online and only the ones using gatherbuddy got banned. I was using randombuddy so no public profiles , i guess is just useless. Quite sux because i just added one mop key in one of the accounts but whatever....deep inside i knew that was coming....but in in less than one hour...right. I made a ticket playing clueless and this was the response.

I looked into this for you to fully understand your issue and your accounts were found to be high exploitative and were wittnessed ingame violating the terms and confiditions you agreed to when you first started the game. These actions have been taken in accordance with the that agreement.

Keep in mind this was the first time and its PERMANENT.

This is normal account - no SOR and before that i was boting on these for months ( skinning only ).

I just wonder.....if there is a problem with gatherbuddy why it still included on the bot.

Most of the bans are coming from using Gatherbuddy2. Mine account was also banned 10 days ago. And i was using self made private profile, which i tested several times and which was really good one. I think Blizzard implemented some algorithmic solution to detect the repetitive usage of the same flying coordinates. It is easy for them to detect the path matching if you are using flying mount for several hours and it appears so that private-self made route will not save you it will just delay the ban compared if you were using a public profile. I'm not going to use Gatherbuddy2 until developers will implementing the path/coords randomizer or some sort of utility that will make sure that the bot will not use exactly the same path coords twice.

I botted with gatherbuddy 8-10 hours a night for a month straight back in 2012 and didn't have any problems, tried it again in the last month and got banned within 2 days, it definitely isn't as safe as it used to be.

You had five accounts running GB2 at the same time? Let me guess... all on the same computer, too?

You really don't think something like that throws up flags to Blizz?

No it wont , i have been using 10 accounts for the last 3 years of boting , ALL AT SAME TIME. Is just the gatherbuddy ones that got banned .

That's because Blizz hates GatherBuddy with a passion. If a GM suspects someone is a bot, they'll go to lengths to check and see if any other bots are running GB2 on the same IP. If they find any other accounts, like they did in your case, they'll shut them down. Auto bans can be overturned, whereas you pissed a GM off and they went to great lengths to cut you off.

You might've gotten away with running ten accounts at the same time doing other things, but GB2 is definitely a no no with that sort of thing.

You seriously think buying a new copy of the game would mislead blizzard?
They track you with IP, and since your IP have 3298074237 flags on it, and a new account pops up on the same IP, of course they are gonna monitor it.

Not to rub salt in your wounds, but i use GatherBuddy2 alot..perhaps 10 hours every second day, almost every week...ive botted quite some time, a year or so...have not even been banned or suspended due to suspicious activities

I believe he said in his original post that it was a response to a ticket he put in, not a email. Although I would have to agree, seems a bit unlikely a customer support representative would reply with that many grammatical errors.

The problem isn't just Gatherbuddy2 and everyone using it.. the problem is a compounded thing. It is people using the same profiles and reporting each other. It is the fact it looks like a bot. It doesnt harvest underground stuff, it doesn't go after things in the water, it only flies a certain path due to profiles, it has to do with how much you bot, how you bot, the lack of breaks, how you sell your stuff. There is a TON that add up to why you get banned.

A lot of it is player reports.. the rest is Economy abuse. You got to change up how you bot and how you sell. I am going 24x7 for the last 3 weeks with zero problems once I changed how I bot and how I sell things.

Seriously had to rofl at the "email" but Ive never had an issue running GB2 or the original for that matter, I think it's more people too lazy to make their own profile so you see about 6-10 druids flying in formation to each node over and over and over again. I can go to any server and watch this.
