Gatherbuddy won't run

When i try to run gatherbuddy it says *Gatherbuddy needs to install an extra component to work, it will do it now. Once finished, please retart Gatherbuddy* I've tried this 10+ times and it still won't run.... Please help me

From the this thread (same thread where you got your Gatherbuddy)...

Put that tool in the directory where you installed Gatherbuddy, and run it. If you are running Vista/Win7, you'll need to use "Admin" mode to run it, and Gatherbuddy.

now it seems like i'm getting a error. below is the error signature

Run the GatherbuddyInstallerWorkaround.exe located in the zip archive . is not in any zip file for the lastest 2 downloads. there is 7 files unzipped and none of them is a gatherbuddy work around. i used the old one that was dl'd some time ago and all it does it give me an error code ... and it doesn't matter weather i run in admin or not

attempting to load on old laptop. so far no luck . what happened to plug n play...

download latest Gb file
download the Gb workaround installer from the first post of Gb main thread
unzip Gb folder
unzip installer in Gb main folder
run the installer exe as admin
open your wow log in with your char
run Gb main exe as admin

I get thru it all until i get to run the installer exe as admin, i'm the admin on my computer and when i run it an errior message pops up and says *we're sorry, a unexpected error has occured an the window needs to close* idrk how to get thru this part
 
installer is inside the gb folder, yes?

ie: /gb 1751/gb.exe <--- the workaround should also be in: /gb 1751/installer.exe
 
i have 6 folders inside the GB folder i made ( by default) and i'm running XP. Is GB supported by XP anymore?
 
won't let me download getting an error when it gets to the setup * The window's installer package : Could not be opened
 
It won't let me download the package... I'm getting a similar error to from when i try to open gatherbuddy * An unexpected error poped up and we can't run your window*

something is wrong with your windows probably
search for a solution on google or something and let us know
