Hi guy,

I just recently bought the lifetime version of buddy.
Up until now I've only used Honorbuddy and loved how easy and fun that was to use.
Today I tried to use Gatherbuddy to gather herbs and ores on my 81 character - to supply to my other chars for their professions. I loaded the Duratar Flying profile and opened hb2 changed to gatherbuddy and hit start and all i got was profile doesnt have any profiles fitting your character.
Any advise on how to do this properly
 
Upload the profile, it might be messed up with levels. If you don't want to upload it(private, for example) check for these lines:
Code: 
 <MinLevel>1</MinLevel>
  <MaxLevel>86</MaxLevel>
max level should be 86 for it to work.

Also, make sure it's a GB2 profile and not a GB1. Common mistake I guess.

No i was just trying to use one of the profiles from the site - the Muglore 1-75 flying Mining one.
I changed the max level to 86 and now I get something along the lines of object is not in refernece of the object....or something like that ... I just tried to turn it on before I head out to work. It didnt work, so I guess im going to try again when I get home today.
Just to confirm the right way to do it is by starting HB2 and then selecting gatherbuddy2 as the bot mode right?
 
Try loading the profile after you switch to GB2, sounds wierd but I've had this before, when I reload the profile, all works well
 
great! thanks guys. Really appreciate the help. I'll give it a whirl when I get home and let you know if it doesnt work.
 
Oops ... So it works - I used the GB release - and uploaded the original files I was trying to use to the buddy auth site. -- didnt know about that before.
So i guess thats the right way to do it. Read Kicks guide and it made sense. Also seems easy to make a GB Path to follow ...hmmm gonna try that. Thanks guys.
