When the profile is created, there is the frequency at which waypoints are created and the speed of the mount creating the waypoint. Assume 2000ms frequency for dropping waypoints. That means every 2 seconds, a waypoint is being created. If they were placed with a 60% mount, the distance between the points are closer than they would have been if they were created with a 100% mount. I.E. The 100% mount to get between the nodes created by the 60% much more quickly. If there are a lot of turns and what not, then when it reaches that new node (and does so much more quickly than the 60%), it has to stop and readjust it's direction before moving on.
