Gatherbuddy issues

I'm sure you all get this all the time, but I downloaded Gatherbuddy, went to run it and just the little window pooped up with nothing going, it says account not attached and character not attached lol
any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
make sure that your wow is running on dx 9

do this /run print(GetCVar('gxApi'))
open the chatbox in wow copy paste that press enter.
If it prints D3D9 ure all good if it says D3D11 you have to open your Config.wtf file and edit this row:
SET gxApi "D3D11"
Make sure it looks like this:
SET gxApi "D3D9"
 
uhh. well I'm running windowed mode, I mean I've used gatherbuddy before not sure why I can't now lol, and not sure if I'm running as admin, I'm payed up and everything as well.

restart you pc
probably there is a rogue Gb process is running
 
right click gb.exe --> run as administrator

make sure no ghost gb.exe's are in the taskmgr (ie: it was working, you close gb, then you restarted it and got this msg)
 
ahh k, all good advice, thank you so much, I'll try that here in a few min, Tol barad is in progress atm, thx. I'll get back to you guys with results :)
 
k, I restarted, and tried running as admin, still I only get the small screen sadface ;(
 
WOOT we have 2 windows I repeat 2 windows, thx for the help everyone :)
 
lol can't seem to try it out the Auth page seems to still be down, just my luck :P
 
nvm lol I got your link lol, btw I downloaded your mount hyjal mine/herb run profile where in the GB folder do I paste the bad nodes .xml file in?

just keep badnodes file on your Gb main folder
