Gatherable Mobs

Sorry if this has been requested or dealt with in the past, i did search but couldn't find anything.

Is there a way for my bot to gather from mobs it kills?

I'm levelling through northrend at the moment, and killing a lot of mobs I can either gather herbs or ming minerals from, but my toon doens't do it.

I've tried the skin mobs option, thinking it may have been part of that, but nothing. am I missing something?

This shouldn't be too hard to do... I'll have a look at some minable mobs with the Mage plugin I'm working on, see if I can get it to check and mine them.
Good idea, but I've never really has mobs drop anything from mining/herbing them.
Either way, I'll see what I can do.

Sometimes they can drop a couple of herbs, ntosure on mining, engineeringmobs can drop bolts etc. Also they may give you skill up points, not sure on that one.

Yeah I'll have a look tonight at what I can check using the methods provided in the API, if there aren't the ones I need it'll take a few days to get this to a working plugin. So don't hold your breath lol

Been over a month, and I remembered this thread when I was asked to add this functionality into Dr. Skinner...
