Status update


I decided to freeze both of the products on the store!

What does it mean?
That they won't be sold anymore until we get back to a 99% afkable botbase!

What about me who already bought the product?
Nothing, we are still actively working on fixing it.

Alright, but why?
Cause even though the product is ok for the majority of users, it is not for way too many people to keep selling it like this.
We thought we could fix it pretty fast, but there are bugs we can't even pinpoint between GB and HB since the latest changes of the HB API and of the GB engine.
We start to feel like scammers, and that's not who we are. The goal here has always been to be as transparent with you, the users, as possible.

The ICE version will get frequent features update and is targeted toward hardcore botters who want to get 100% of their Garrisons.
The Lite edition is targeted toward users who want to be freed from the boring part of the Garrison.

Why the ICE (Integral Coder Experience) edition?
The ICE edition starts at the same stage as the LITE edition, but while the LITE will only get bug fixes and small features to keep it running, the ICE edition will get new major features throughout the expansion.*
More importantly, these features are decided by you, users. *If suddenly everybody wants their toon to start dancing in front of the Townhall, well we'll add it.
You get a near total control on the future of the product and our work.
You don't buy just an awesome BotBase but developer time!


So what would you wish for??

So the forum is nice to discuss but not so good to organize everything, so from now on you can check all the known bugs and suggested features for the ICE edition there:

The most voted will be prioritized in the development. You can also easily post a comment and explain with more details what you want, attach logs, screenshots...
If a bug or a feature is not there, let us know on this thread. :)


Why would you want to use it ?
Because GarrisonButler is remarkable... like you.
Because you have other things to do.
Because 50 garrisons to take care of is just a pain in the ...
Because GarrisonButler is the closest to 100% AFK and will keep getting better.
And because unicorns are, well... unicorns.

Behavior:
The bot will check for any of the options you activated. Once everything is done it will either give control to the secondary bot or if run alone it will wait for something to do.


Blah,blah,blah... But how do I use it?
1- Be sure you have the latest version of HB here and check out the Wizard.
2- Launch WoW in 32 bits.
3- Launch HB.
4- Wait until HB is ready.
5- Select GarrisonButler in the menu.
6- Set up your settings in " Bot Config ".
7- Press " start ".
8- /popcorn and 3D glasses.

How to copy settings between characters
Step 1
Open <HonorBuddy Folder>
Navigate to <HonorBuddy Folders>/Settings/
Navigate to the folder that matches your server name

Navigate to the folder of the character that has the settings you want to copy

Step 3
Copy the GarrisonButlerSettings.xml that you find to all the other character folders from Step 2

HBRelog Tutorial: How to use GarrisonButler with an army

Download this file: View attachment Setting.xml
Place it in
Code: 
C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\HighVoltz\HB  Relog

Once you've done that, open HBrelog and do the following:

Under "Account" tab
  • A name for this profile
  • Battle.net e-mail
  • Account name (wow1 wow2 etc...)
  • Password
  • First character name
  • Server name (exactly as it is seen in-game)
  • Region (you can leave this as auto)
  • Wow.exe path (this leads to your wow.exe folder)
  • Leave "WoW Args" blank

Under "Bot" tab
  • Leave "Key" blank
  • Class (I recommend you use Singular)
  • Bot: GarrisonButler
  • Leave "Profile Path" blank
  • Honorbuddy path (this leads to your honorbuddy.exe folder)
  • Leave "HB Args" empty

Under "Window" tab
  • There is no reason to mess with this unless you know what you are doing

Under "Tasks"
  • The first task should be "wait" set at 30 minutes, this gives your first character time to do its thing,
  • The second task should be "logon"
    1. Characters name
    2. Server (exactly as its seen in-game)
    3. Botbase (Garrisonbutler)
    4. Custom class (again, i highly recommend using singular)
    5. Leave "Profile Path" empty
    6. Honorbuddy Path (this leads to your honorbuddy.exe folder)
    7. Leave "Honorbuddy Args" blank
  • The third can be an optional "idle" this will give the bot a break
  • The forth, you repeat step 1, starting at "wait" followed by a "logon" task for each character you have

How to fix common problems
Thanks to Blablub for this post:
- when you use hb relog you have to use a blank profile since some hb version, otherwise you have all really high chance of getting hb stuck / freeze (last message is usally no profile found or something like that in hb screen / log)
should be mentioned in #2 + the old "thing" that botbase should be garrisonbutler ICE or lite not just gb (not sure if its autocompleting then i haven´t said anything)

- if config won´t work -> install Internet Explorer 11 (someone told me in a pm that even installing IE 10 helped -> not sure whats the lastest version for windows 7)

- for other problems some people reported that setting framelock to 30 tps helped (had no problems with 15 / 60 tps

- if the bot won´t fight normaly make sure facing and auto movement is enabled in the cc, some people said that thier spec is broken in sigular and switching to tuanhas free helped

- make sure you don´t have any non default plugins running like timber....


i think these points cover over 95% of the problems

i have done 0 missions for my garrison so will this do everything needed to level it up and blah blah blah
 
Current Status 30-11-14:

  • Garrison:
    • Alliance: Lvl 3
    • Horde: None
    [*]Mine:
    • Harvest ores
    • Use coffee and mining pick if available
    • Alliance: Lvl 2 and 3
    • Horde: None
    [*]Garden:
    • Harvest herbs
    • Alliance: Lvl 2
    • Horde: None
    [*]Missions:
    • Included for all supported Garrison level
    • Logic: complete mission for which follower level is >= mission level and all abilities countered
    [*]Garrison cache: included for all supported Garrisons.

Let me know if you would like some help with code. I may not be the greatest, but I can write part of it and test it on my end extensively (10 accounts 22 x 100s) before sending it to you.

In the first week Kicks had 90-96 mapped out in quests, being that I have two sets of 5 man dungeon groups I had them all at 97 within the first couple days and have been testing my skyreach profile non stop trying to perfect it. When a toon hits 100 I swap it out for a 97, i think i have 18 sitting at 96-98.
