From these recent US 6 month bans it appears that most of the people banned have been using GarrisonBuddy.

Is it just that common of a bot that most people use it?

or

Is that the reason for the bans?

I think it is fair that this issue be looked into and the community informed.

I read somewhere that this GarrisonBuddy uses some sort of exploit in the garrison that is triggering these bans. Not sure of the truthfulness in that.

If it turned out that GarrisonBuddy is the reason for the higher than normal ban rate out of the US then knowing so would help make the people using honorbuddy for other things worry less.

Was banned today. Just raided with Enyo and a highly customized CR with no interupts, no leveling, bgs, anything else. Had Garrisonbutler ICE purchased but havent used for weeks. Im starting to think just having it load will flag something. /tinfoil

If loading was the issue, tons of players would be in the same pool - HB is used by 50-100k accounts in the same time totally on all regions.

Instead try to look elsewhere - in your CR for example - what you were using?

@drewzy22, I just reread all the Deams official and unofficial words about the GarrisonBuddy security concerns in his thread, and I cannot see any real issue there - but since he mentioned that 7000+ people were using his free beta GarrisonBuddy, most likely this was a "good" excuse for him to remove it and "stop" people from using it, but instead use the two paid variants, which generally was the same (with working profession CDs only)

I meant the addon from the store called GarrisonButler.. but its just a tinfoil hat theory
