Garrison buddy - is there no free version any more?

i was using garrison buddy one moment and next moment it was gone, i have come to realize that it is being sold now any idea if there is a free version? or anything similar?
 
It's now paid. There is a lite and higher end version on the store. Well worth the money I think.
 
i guess my question is, what if the developer quits? or something changes? who takes over? or are we just out money on it?
 
a developer signs a contract to support items for a set period of time. you can search here on the forums for that information. I would think this would be good enough allowing for death, or debilitating injury that just wouldnt allow a developer to continue.
 
I think it`s worth to say that deams (the garrisonbuddy[buttler]) developer is one of the most active members and he show us nothing but full support of his product so far

The lite version looks like the last version of the open beta, can anyone confirm I'm not losing anything by switching?

This is something only the author can answer so better you ask him/her directly.
 
Wait what theres no free version?... Damn i'm glad I never updated xD been using mine for ages now never needed to update it tbh!

There's still a free version the revision 24 in the SVN!
I will make it simpler later, once back home.

Concerning the Lite and Ice edition, it got the following updates:
Version: 1.1.1 (12/31/2014 12:09:04 AM)

Fixed Daily CD not detected after first run
Added workaround for Anvil not detected, will now really skip it for 15 seconds which will give it time to move in the Garrison and get closer to the Anvil (Real fix coming soon)

Version: 1.0.0 (12/30/2014 2:19:43 AM)

Initial store release, same state as GarrisonButler Lite 1.0.0
* Fix for Jewelcrafting
* Now check for garrison ressources before starting missions
* Fix for Tannery
* Fix for a critical navigation bug
* Improved speed of Garden harvesting

Asked in your other thread and in private message but haven't gotten any response to this free version.

WARNINGAfter verification of the next release from the BuddyTeam, it appears that there is currently a risk for the users. Please be careful while using it, it is a minor security risk but I think you had to be warned.
Modified the code to comply with the security rules, I am waiting for the confirmation. Will let you know asap!

Yes it does. Things got ectic due to the high speed of the HB team. I have to admit I was a bit pessimistic on the time needed for them to verify things etc, as it ia often with such services. Was a really nice surprise to see how effective they were.
But it did made me late on prepping everything, taking care of the free version, posts... :)
Will fix it soon.
But still no reports of ban, still dangerous though.

Hey there,
I also just updated my SVN just to find it no longer works at all. I dled the ZIP file in that link you posted, but all there is in a "read me.md" ...Am I doing something wrong or how do I revert to the previous ver before I updated the SVN.

If you have the svn then the simplest way is to revert to revision 24 using your svn client. The svn will have a new version soon. Guys I warned everyone I was out of a computer until the 3rd of January. ;)

its the same just as the Ice ver is the same as the lite tell later on as he adds things if u want the garrisonbuddybeta just before the rev warning he has given instant message me its all the same it even does the circling lol
