Gamma issues in VMware

Hi All,

I realize this is not strictly a ExileBuddy issue but thought someone might be able to help em with this.

I'm running poe in VMware workstation 10.4 (win7 x64) and when I start POE the screen is very white unless I hover over a button
I have googeled a lot and found that the fps meters (F1) help the issue. But now it start flcikering back to high gamma all the time which makes it totally unplayable (leveling my bot manually.

Does anyone have a permanent way to fix this?
 
Yeah that F1 trick doesn't work for me. you will need to downgrade to the last version of VMWare workstation that didn't cause that bug. the version you want is 7.1.3 build-324285

I tried to get it working with VMWare workstation 11, the trial release, but didn't get it working because of a different unrelated problem, so gave up and went back to version 7.

Thanks, I indeed tried VMware 7 and it works now, weird!
 
I just tried vmware workstation 11.0.0 build-2305329. Same problem. I have posted a discussion on the vmware site.. see what happens.
I will spend a little bit of time trying to find the changelog from the working version 7.1.3 build-324285 to the version immediately after that one.

I too was hoping they would have fixed that, but saw the same problem.

This is upsetting, was just about to upgrade as I am having MAJOR freezing issues with version 7. Whenever I try to run 1 poe client on my desktop and one in VMWare the VMWare freezes
