Game modding illegal in South Korea

Was watching the wan show from Linus tech tips, and they reported that South Korea has made it illegal to mod games in ways that are against what the developer allows ie: botting. Can carry up to 5 years in jail. Will try to find an article to link soon.

It's a shithole, their president was a few days ago accused of being bribed and got replaced.
