Fur/Leather/Hearty Bone Turn-in Farmer (Nagrand Warlords of Draenor)

Greetings,

I was bored and got to messing around with HBWiki, and messed around and tweaked with it for a bit. Finally I had came to the conclusion I would want to make my own farming/grinding profiles. This is the first one I made to farm Leathers and Furs from the wolves in Nagrand. It's pretty self explanatory.

1. Download the latest "Stepzoll's Nagrand Farmer" below.
2. Put it in your "Default Profiles" folder or somewhere conventional for you to load it from.
3. Open Honorbuddy
4. From the drop down menu select "Questing"
5. Click the "Load Profile" button.
6. Find "Stepzoll's Nagrand Farmer," it should be where you saved it at.
7. Click "Start"

Once you click start, it doesn't matter where you are. It will make it's way to the Nagrand Prowlers and begin to farmer the furs and leathers. YOU DO NEED SKINNING TO FARM LEATHERS! If you do not have skinning, you will only be farming the furs.

This is a good method also to get 1-700 skinning. I know skinning isn't much since they took the "Crit" buff away, and all the other stats from Profession but I am averaging a pretty good amount of gold per night.

I am working on a Felblight profile also that's averaging me 13k per night between the felblights and furs collected. I will be adding my Felblight profile shortly.

The amount of "Gold Gained" is way off.

Thank you, will test it :) Any chance you can add the bones turn in quest to the profile?

The quest has been added. If you start the profile with the bones in your inventory, the first thing it will do is go turn them in. When you start the profile again after farming or going to sleep for the night, it will begin to turn them in once more.
 
Ok I ran this for about 12 hours or so. Zero stucks whatsoever which is great, simply does its thing, thank you!!

I watched it on and off and I think it could be more profitable if you increased either the pull distance or the hotspots? It seems to ignore some mobs that are quite close. In that time I ran it, my bags were not even full so I believe there is a lot more potential for this!
 
I have like 3 days using this profiles, i think is a good one but i dont know why it doesnt skin any wolf im just getting fur and bones. I do have skinning in the char. I tried cleaning cache on HB and Wow with the same result.
 
I noticed this in the profile:

<GrindArea>

<MaxDistance>20</MaxDistance>

If I change that would it increase the pull radius?
 
Nice Profile ! quite simple and it works well

except one think, my toon isn't skinning ...

lvl 100, skinning lvl 18/715.

I'm using "quest" then the xml file for profile.

any idea ?

In fact I forgot to acivate the auto skinning in tool and option :-)

Did you activate skinning in your "HB Settings?"

It should, I liked 20, because anything above that it kept running me up on the ledge and not getting as many wolves. It's ultimately up to you what you want to do.



Zakk, I also added in those Hotspots you were asking for. There are now 67 total hotspots, which is basically the whole wolf area. If you need anything else, let me know.

Going to try to check this more often, totally forgot about it. Like I said, was busy making and perfecting my own Felblight farmer.

Yes i realized it after a couple days, you should make the profile activate it autotically or make a note in the Topic. i realized it because i saw the info looking for other profile.
 
Can not start quest bot - this profile does not contain a quest order!

so that doesnt work
 
got a small problem with the bone quest started the profile and gives bones away but while was standing there got afk and logged out (think i got to much bones^^) so a bit movement every 40-50 quests would be fine... but so fasr running very good!!!

It's not designed to make more gold than the felblight. It's designed if you want both fur and leathers IE for Tailoring or Leatherworking or honestly if you just want to get skinning up.

I didn't make it for really making more gold than Felblight farming. At the time, Felblight wasn't even out when I had originally made it. But it does make a decent amount of gold if you're not interested in farming the Felblight.

I imagine the gold is way off lol. But still, it's selling the greens, and mailing my furs and leathers to my bank alt.
