So after looking through a good amount of reports i only see people from "US" banned. Mind you, i'm new and i play on "EU" servers so i guess what i'm asking how aggressive Blizzard are at banning people over here in EU.

They already banned a bunch in EU if u look on some older post 2-3 pages back

blizzard is much better/more active at banning US wow botters than they are for EU wow botters, it's fairly common knowledge

They banned a bunch before 5.2 US, then banned a bunch after the US ban on EU. After patch 5.2 around yesterday they banned a bunch from US, expect EU bans to follow. :D

So your basically saying that because people are getting banned on US Servers due to there ignorance of other people telling them not to bot 24/7 or they just get banned from reports that the EU players will now get banned.....LOL! If you get banned you made yourself get banned. 5 years of botting and not a ban yet. GOLFCLAP TO YOU MR!

No what I'm saying is there was a trend right before 5.2 from player reports. There was a wave of US that got caught up on, then EU. I'm just speculating in the coming week expect a bunch of bans on the EU side to come through from player reports when they get around to them because US just happened. I lost 1 of my 6 accounts on each wave. Doing different stuff, but I don't mind. I look at it as a business, rebuy, relevel, and bot more gold to sell.

Wave, Wave of what? Are there people going around looking for bots...Or are you saying BANWAVE!. Omg 10 accounts got banned it must be a banwave.. There is no thing as a Wave atm. if there was 1000's accounts would be banned and a lot more people would be crying.

If you've been botting for 5 years without a ban, you must not be doing much botting at all. And you definitely aren't making any money from it. If you are, great for you but you are very lucky and definitely in the minority of botters.

Exactly. The longest I've ever had a bot account last was about a year (from WOTLK to about 2 months into Cata), and that was my first account that I had opened in 2004. I decided I didn't care about playing the game anymore and found out that selling gold would make me more money than selling the account. That was a year of 15-20 hour a day botting, but it was also an old account with a lot of history. Those accounts tend to last longer. If you are making a new account, leveling it, and botting for profit, it will not last nearly as long. In my experience, you can expect a botting account to last 2-3 months max, and sometimes much less. Of course, there are things you can do to minimize the risk, but it doesn't always work. I've had accounts bot 24/7 and last 3 months, and I've had accounts bot 12 hours a day while doing heroics and battlegrounds (manually) get banned in two weeks.

Now, if you have had a different experience and your accounts last longer, feel free to share. But like I said, if you bot for profit and have NEVER been banned in years...that's great but you are definitely in the extremely lucky minority.

I bot with 10....lol.....And thats with 5 each under different bnets. So only been using 2 bnet accounts for 5 years. Botted for 6-9 hours a day like a Human and still make decent cash $300 a week a extra on my normal day job. I have also botted 5 x sor accounts full blast different V P N's and Virtual Boxes...But I have never ever used a public profile for longer then a few days to see how the normal person who buys the bot for with public paths and crap. Ive just botted smart very smart. And I've never botted a battleground ever. I find if you do your better off just selling the account before it does get banned. lol

Do you use a different V P N / virtual box for each bot? And how long did your sor accounts last? I've thought about buying some, but I always hear about them being banned very fast.

This is a wrong assumption. I can name several people with 5+ bots that have never had a ban since Honorbuddy has been available (can't speak for Glider and other bots). People are cagey about sharing this kind of information. Only those that get banned tend to be vocal. :D So, I say no more.

cheers,

@ Web ^^^^^ A Core Dev says more....And I am not full of it :) So good luck being another typical botter :) One day you will learn the secrets of the trade. I am one of many people who never been banned who have had over 20+ accounts and are making a LIVING off it.

If that's the case for those people, great for them. But like I said, from my experience botting (and my experience talk to friends/other botters), that is definitely not the normal case. How often to they bot? How many hours per day when they do? Do they sell gold? If you're casually botting to make some extra gold, sure I can see it. But, if you're botting to make a profit you are most likely not going to last that long. There is always an exception to the rule, but I've been doing this for about 3 years and I'm just sharing my experience on the matter. Of course, I could be doing something wrong, but it's a learning process and you learn from your mistakes.

You dont follow the herd. I never have and I do make extra cash off my bots. I dont have the same crap everyone else farms and bot quite smart with the small things that could towards blizzard thinking that your account is a active HUMAN account. As I said ealier you have to know the secrets of the trade, Just like the secret of the AH in WoW.
