Funny Little Victory Over Blizzard

So some years ago, around 2006-2007ish I got some accounts banned for selling gold and spamming trade to do so. WELL last week I decided I wanted those accounts back. So i proceeded to submit tickets to Blizzard asking for reinstatement of my old accounts and that I have never sold gold blah blah blah.

The first response I got from a GM was a fairly generic one in nature, stating that He looked further in to the situation and confirmed the results and my accounts would stay banned. So I proceeded to clearly state that I was going to continuously write tickets until my accounts were un-banned seeing that I am innocent of these crimes.

The second response I got, the GM was much more understanding and gave me 3 free battlechests' for my accounts. The reasoning behind this was due to the fact that their internal system cannot allow them to go back so far to even see the details of the case at hand. He then proceeded to say that Blizzard fully allows all customers the chance to petition bans and suspensions and the fact that I am not able to petition my accounts because of their system limits they would allow me to have battlechests' on the house with a free month per account.

So all in all im quite happy lol.

I personally had some success with the "Help I've been hacked!" button. Had like 4 accounts, same b-net account, all banned for botting with a different, crappy bot... But pressing that button a couple of months post ban got them all restored :P

I always thought they had a log limit and always wondered what they'd do if there was no evidence on the account, people with old accounts should consider appealing.
