So a friend sends me a link im laughing my ass off
Long story short . Some guy gets a job at blizzard and he writes on some forums that he got a job at his dream company. problem is that user was a known botter and some diablo 3 players see this and make a thread on the official forums "say NO to hiring the known botter x at blizzard" :D

Bellow the post : ( you can find it on blizz forums - i thought of not providing a direct link)

so this Strife botter, wrote that his dream come true.
he made a lot of money from running bots in diablo 3 and finally got a job offer from Blizzard itself.

Got an offer from my dream company yesterday AMAA

now this botter will work at Blizzard and laugh at your face, and whole diablo gaming community.
and just think, how many bots he will be able to run as Blizzard employe.
or maybe he will have no need to run bots anymore, as he'll bealbe to generate gold and items himself.
we as diablo3 gamers and community should say NO, such person/botter should never ever work at Blizzard.
i think Activision/Blizzard didn't know about Strife's botting experience, but now they know.

You have beaten me to posting this 1st.

It's so funny how 8 months ago he's complaining about the economy failing, After all that time every other thread on the forums is about the same thing.

I can promise you guys that if i ever get a position on blizzard anti hack team i will be running bots on industrial scale. I mean the Chinese bot farm will look like someone is running a bot 1hour a day :D

I giggle at the stupidity of those posters on blizzard forums. they think botting is the same as hacking and the guy was hired for that :D
with examples white hat black hat lol
technically botting is not even cheating (or it might be semi-cheating) cos it doesn't circumvent any game play mechanisms it simply automates gameplay..and even so cheating in a game mmm that's a serious offense lol
i honestly can't even understand how blizzard can sue demonbuddy or the stupidity of those judges if they rule in blizzard's favor - cos there are tons of cheats for every game made and i've never heard the authors being sued or smth

lol @ your definition of "cheating".

imo botting = cheating. because you gain unfair advantages compared to a legit player.

Is it ? :D i was making a lot more gold when playing legit thru both drops and flipping
sure botters win with numbers but not everyone has tens and hundreds of bots
i would say 1 legit player (who knows what he is doing and actually likes the game to play it a lot ) equals 3 bots :)

BTW i also have a theory and i've also seen some thread some time ago with some asking if it is possible for them to lower the loot for the public profiles . Yes i think they do that but i dont think its about the public profiles but about the repeating process . for example when i leave the bots unattended for long periods of time most of the time i dont get much in terms of loot value . but sometimes when im bored i stop one of the bots and do some area manually or add an extra area or move differently to the same area - that run or the next i get better loot - basically when i do something differently then the profile

To be honest, i truly believe Blizzard could stop bots, but they just make too much profit off us to even consider it. All they do is issue some bans every now and then to silence the sheep. I mean, look at how many people are playing and even more so BUYING D3 now.. I am pretty sure a sizable percentage of all chars now are bots and the same goes for the cd key sales. Or maybe every third person in Russia plays Diablo 3 :)
