Frost lotus price. Are we doomed?

Hey there.

After they increased the droprate of Frost Lotus, the prices on my server dropped like shiiit. Means : from 55-60g/each down to ~30g each.. Did this happen on your servers too, or just mine server is so fucking noob?

And another question. Does anyone have some info about incoming flasks which will need the Frost lotus so that the price would go up again or at least the demand would be higher? Thanks in advance.

You get more frost lotus and sell them at a cheaper price. It doesn't really come out any different except that you have more stuff to sell and you can't sell one stack of items for nearly a thousand gold.

I used to be a main supplier for 2 top notch raiding guilds on my server. I sold in bulk @ 65g/each (Cha ching) That was 2 weeks ago. Right now I'm lucky to get 45g each. Did the new patch increasing FL drop rate come out today?

problem is, the droprate has been upped by 50% so it doesn't drop twice as much but 1,5 as much, however the prices have been halfed,

Overall it shouldnt have changed much, but just wait till you can trade in and get lotuses

This is correct.

The previous drop rate was 5%. 50% of 5% = 7.5%.

We've had a 50% (or more on some servers) price drop and only a 1.5% increased drop rate. It doesn't even itself out at all. The volume of Frost Lotus being sold is still very comparable and nearly identical to that of pre-patch with prices 50% lower.

Now with the upped dropped rate it is. 15 frost lotus. and most ppl can only sell em for 25g each = 375g.

That is so relative and the prices are unrealistic.

new prices:
frost lotus 30g/ea lichbloom 50g/stack.

I'm coming out of this with more of a profit.

it all depends on servers I guess. Im on 5 servers, and all have its ups and downs.

just control the market.. if you have alot of gold.. buy them ALL.. starve the AH of any cheap frost lotus.. and resell them with your own ones at a more normal price

BTW..

on my server... frost lotus has dropped.. icethorn has dropped.. but lichbloom has gone up.
