Do you mean by 150%? Not trying to be a pain, but drop rates seem to be way down for me.

Yeah, i saw that, i started getting around 1 frost lotus each 3-4 loots, got myself 17 in just 30 min. But then it stop and its back to normal now.

Also, i am not finding a single mining node for about 3 hours now, wtf is going on.

Don't expect them to drop too much. Not everyone bots and brings 5-6 stacks per day in Unless the bots are way more per server than i thought. I would MUCH rather they would up the drop rate of Eternal Life though. That's the one i am always short of.

The drop rate is not that much of an increase.. but it should be noticable.

For example, if the drop rate is 5%, it will become 7.5% .

We won't be affected that much imo

That's a good point... the impact on constant botters should be minimal. This really only benefits the alchemists that occasionally buy a stack or two of lotus for flasks. For hardcore farmers/botters, frost lotus might be half price, but we'll be getting twice as many to even it out.

As long as the market isn't saturated and there's still a need for lotus, the price will remain high. Notice how Infinite dust is a saturated market because everyone and their brother gets it now from 5 mans, so the price has dropped hard because now you dont even have to be an enchanter to shard stuff, as long as someone in your party is.

There are more ways to get infinite dust, so the price drops. However, you still have to go out and fly around forever to get Frost Lotus, so the price won't be as affected because you still need herbalism to do it, and you are still spending a decent amount of time farming it. I don't see this hurting botters at all, especially since a 50% increase in supply won't saturate the market--people will still be needing more Lotus than people are able to farm up.

Agreed, frost lotus on my server sells out on Wednesdays and Thursdays always, I can get 100g a piece on those days, I think the demand will still be there even with the increase

I think this is actually a good thing. Perhaps it will balance out the ratio of frostlotus : herbs so that you have less leftover herbs when making flasks.

I don't know yet if everyday is going to be like today, but AH was full of flasks. Supply has been increased a lot (I farmed 40 FL in 8 ours tonight) but demand is the same, and I can't get sold everything I farm in a night, so I'm losing money.
It's not as serious as I expected, but in fact I prefer previous status quo

Most normal people don't raid Fridays and the weeekend...usually I see a drop in flask prices during the weekend and a peak in the middle of the weak.
This is the way it has been on my servers at least.

I don't make flasks on my server, the mats can sell for more even allowing for the 2x flasks per.
