Clean install of this build and attempting to login for the first time, app crashes.

I've done this:
remove:

- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable
- microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable

restart your pc,
download the installationwizard https://www.thebuddyforum.com/attach...uddywizard-zip
run them as administrator.
after wizard installation is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
restart

Log output each time:

2015-09-20 03:18:37,997 [1] INFO MainWindow (null) - Demonbuddy v1.1.2636.427 started
2015-09-20 03:18:41,456 [4] INFO MainWindow (null) - Logging in...

Having the same problem. Mine sits at "Logging in...". I was in the middle of a game and DB just disappeared (I had it stopped). I noticed it just closed itself. Tried to reopen, had the "Logging in..." issue since then.

I did everything you did as well (removed 2010 x86 and 2012 x86, reinstalled, restarted, etc). Same problem.

It's the first time I've tried DB, and its never run without crashing, so my experience is slightly different. But fundamentally the same problem, i.e. the app crashes upon login. :)

Exact same thing happened to me. :\

Ahh. Yeah, I just started using it a few days ago and besides the brief nav issues, I haven't had any problems. I noticed that some people on the HonorBuddy forum were having the same issue, so something is going on! I'm sure they will have a fix soon (at least I hope!). =)

Somewhat disappointed. I was hoping this would be pretty bug proof considering how long its been out :) But then again, that's just how these things go. Hoping the devs have a fix soon.

I also tested the version prior to this (v1.1.25xx) to see if perhaps that would work, but same issue. I think it's more an underlying issue on Windows that causes this error rather than something that's just started off-late, but I'm no dev, so who knows!

OS Win7 x64 SP1

Solved my issue.

Removed .net Framework 4.5.2
Installed .net Framework 4.5.1
Installed Microsoft visual c++ 2013 x86 redistributable
