Fresh copy of bot / transfer setting

Hey Push, or anyone knowledgeable on the subject,

could you point me in the right direction on how to transfer settings over from the bot itself, and from all of the plugins I have? I wasn't sure if there was a post on this already or not.

I tried it before without looking at what to transfer exactly, but I think I copied some files I shouldn't have, and the bot would just crash. I had to reinstall every plugin again, one by one, to see what the problem was. Is this necessary, or is there certain files I can just copy over?

All you need to do is copy your "Settings" folder over, then manually copy the folder you want from Bots/Plugins/Routines.

If there's an update, you don't want to copy old content included with the bot over, but rather your 3rd party stuff, barring the case where an update requires them to update as well, in which case you need to wait for and download a new copy of it.

Also - when copying over your settings folder make sure you tell it to overwrite the files (replace) instead of keeping the old ones or renaming...

Sounds obvious - but you have to retard proof everything these days lol
