Fraps and honour buddy

Anyway i brought fraps a long time ago used it a couple of times and forgot about it, well now i have downloaded the newest one and decided to record my bot , was only going for 1 or 2 minutes at a low 16 framerate , i then turned it off and had a quick peak.

i was hoping to maybe leave fraps on and film my bot 24/7 as long as the bot is going, but the size of file fraps made off just 1 to 2 mins was enourmous 921 MB.

is it possible so fraps can record but not use such a huge amount of space?

Run your pc at a lower resolution.

That doesnt change fraps gigantic file size, your going to have to continuously compact it or w/e

Nope there is no way.



Remember that fraps don't "record" a movie, it take screenshots and making a movie of them. The reason behind the big files.

hope you have a massive hard drive and a program to compress the file size, that's the only problem i don't like about fraps. Massive file size eats my hard drive

I recommend, Camstasia, which s free, or livestream, which you can stream live an area or whole screen yo your own page. should check it out. On livestream make sure you use Normal Quality unless you know you have a good computer that can handle it.

well my computer is in need of upgrade, even though i only got it bare bones off ebay a few weeksago - getting a graphics card for it soon - and then in a month or 2 upgrade to a 3 ghz quad core
