Hi Buddy Team,

I also have the FPS drop problem. Without HB running I have even infight (in a raid) 40-60 FPS (vsync on). As soon the fight starts FPS drop to 10 and under.

Already disabled all store products except for enyo and 1 routine and I also tried that console command. Still the same problem.

I know that this is a known bug, but I hope you will fix it soon. Previous HB vresion did not drop the FPS so serious...

Hi, McWeiss, and thank you for all the solid information.

We've added the information to our internal report. It looks like you've covered it all, but you might see if you overlooked anything by double-checking the content in this article:

cheers,

hi chinajade,

thx for the link, but:

Desktop Compositing has been disabled on your machine <---- no
A Buddy Store product is causing FPS drops <---- almost everything off, except enyo + 1 routine and the fps drop also with singular
Another program on your machine is interfering with Honorbuddy operation <--- no disabled all and everything not essential via taskmanager
Your CPU—not GPU—is under-powered <--- core i7-377k @ 4.4GHz should not be underpowered, hmm?

If there is no problem with the hb .765 release why was the fps drop not that massive with .764 or older versions? why came so many fps problem threads after the .765 release?

can i provide any other information to help fix the problem ((, even there is none) (sorry for sarcasm)) ? no really: i would love to help to fix the problem, since there obviously is one counting the raising number of threads...

all we can do is try and resolve the issues with this build, the devs are working on whats going on to improve it on future builds.

hi CodenameG, hi buddy team,

I maybe found something that might help a few people with the fps drop problem. I am not 100% sure and need more testing, but it helped me a lot so far: I have a quadcore Intel processor (i7-3770k) and when I set the process affinity for wow.exe and honorbuddy.exe to different CPUs the FPS drop is a lot better... or at least a lot less bad... ;)

So what helps for me is: wow.exe set to CPU 0-3 (physical and virtual cpu) and hb.exe set to 4-7.

Even on a pretty weak AMD CPU the framerate drop was way better after setting both programs to different CPUs...
