FPS Drop, Closed threads

a healer cr will always be slower because its having to scan sooooo many things to make the best healing decisions.

you may want to turn off all addons and the bot and see what your fps will be like.

is this fps while raiding? is you main a caster, or melee

it could be that if your main is melee, you just arent rendering as much of the environment as if you were standing back and seeing everything.

but not if you have a fast pc

It all comes out how the developer has designed the routine. If he/she pulses too many things too often you will have fps drops no matter what

The routine should be simple in terms of design so that it's not doing much apart from executing the rotation and detecting units around the player for AoE.

You shouldn't have lots of fps drops when it comes to a DPS routine / Tank routine, if you do then the routine developer is doing something he/she shouldn't do. Then I would call it a bad routine simple as that

Currently the overlay makes your fps drop like 10 fps, during combat you should expect another 5-6 fps drop (Depending how the routine is executing the rotation), so in total you should have max 15 fps drop during combat in raids/instances.

When it comes to healing many other things needs to be added. Like Tank detection, players around your raid (very heavy call) that requires healing and so on
