Hey guys I think it would be nice to have a chatbox here in the forum, so we can talk to each other and find arena partners and talk about the botting and things like that. Is this a valid suggestion?

Good Luck finding people, half of the battle of NOT getting banned is staying anonymous. Seems quite risky suggesting we can all run around and cheat in-game together. I am up for the chatbox, but not to use it to find partners in crime.

I do think chatboxes are a very nice addition to a community. For instance, it's very easy (this is my job basically) to set limits to chatboxes as well as temporarily disable them and give people special privileges. For instance, turn it off during patch time, have a moderator post: "There has been a ninja patch and the bot is currently not operational. Please see rhinhtrhegoiegn thread for updates." Usually, you'll also only allow people of a certain post number or higher to participate or risk spammers going nuts, ex greater than 10 you can talk.

Communicating with botters about the game usually depends on personal friendship and the golden rule is don't talk about the elephant in the room. I joined a raiding guild and we all had a big surplus of money and there were a couple people who just didn't get it, but if you went on vent we clearly talked about the bot and the "latest thing" to try with it. I doubt you'd get much sympathy, but if you know a botter who purposely tried to get you banned you could tell a moderator if you had proof or whatever and see if you can get them banned from the community.

The only reason they may not want to use one is if the server that hosts this website is garbage, it can put some load on the server, even if it's only just a little more. My biggest request is larger avatars, or if it's space related for whatever reason allow us to host them on an external site whose servers are meant for this, like Gravatar or even imgur.

100% accurate, personal friendship in real life that is. Hard to have that via online interaction only, you never know who you are REALLY playing/talking to. It would of only taken 1 guildie, or someone he told to bring you attention and not the good kind; especially if the majority of the guild was doing it regardless of how safe you believe yourself to be the truth is your never 100% safe when you bot, and the more people who know you bot increase the risk.

Well, I presume people who bots don't report other botters, this is the first basic rule of botting

Be sure thats its mostly botters reporting other bothers.

half of the community couldnt spot a bot even if they where attached to one!
