I guess they mean it's a little bit safer to bot now than few days ago when people were removing tripwire by themselves? I am going to wait for at least a week from today tho, i have a feeling blizzard needs some time to chill the fuck out. Just my thoughts. :/

Yes that was basically my question. Is the bot working "correctly" again or is it still down.

It appears they made some internal changes of tripwire and opened authentication servers. So to answer your question: yes, HB is up and you can use it without disabling tripwire.

I get that they scan for some period and then drop the banhammer every so many months but what if you only botted the first month, and not the other 5? i wonder if they still ban you on the 6th for something you did 5 months ago.

BS. My main is still up and running and I've had 5 bots on the same machine/bnet/IP, but I never injected HB into my main acc, only used it to sell gold lolz.

Also why would you really care about your "main" account when everything actually valuable is bnet shared? Like mounts, pets, titles, achievs, transmogs etc. Just buy a new account on the same bnet and that's your new main.

I think if your raiding/dungeoning, getting on that treadmill for new gear, even after you level to 110 .....to get gear is gonna be such a chore..... but other than gear you are right all account wide loots are still there.
