I was told that in the Blizzard forums some of the top D3 players including the #1 Barb solo with a 76 GR Alkeizer who claim they do not BOT want Blizz to be more proactive in stopping botters and they have all banded together and signed some sort of a petition in demanding action.

I came here to write this post and see the there are 2 people reporting a Ban and one suspension. So maybe there is some merit to this information.

OBV 2 months later no more Bans except on WoW....

I wonder if blizz will care? 1 week and we'll see I guess

with RMAH gone, there really is no reason to ban botters now in D3. Bots have zero affect on others in the game now, it's literally all solo based and even in groups the loot is per person not per group. I don't see how these leaderboard players are saying bots are ruining the game when they never see them or have to deal with them negatively affecting their play.

Agreed. Botting D3 has no real impact on the game or anyone playing it.

The only exception is if you care about getting a high ladder rank AND if you believe that you are being beaten by people who are using bots. Which is ridiculous. It's just as easy to hire a neighborhood boy to play your account legitimately for you instead of mowing your lawns. And when you consider that most or all of the top streamers are earning money in the range somewhere between decent to outrageous, they can definitely afford to pay for some manual labor if needed to farm their items.

And the best part is that they claim bots give an unfair advantage while they have their viewers carry them for the first 6 hours of a season and have their fans protest with them about bots. smh

That and they get viewers to farm their ubers for them amongst other things too.

I bot to avoid wrist pain. I basically watch the bot and I mostly only bot when I would normally play. I say mostly because sometimes I do some cleaning while doing it. imo if you dont abuse it I dont see a problem with it, especially if you have health problems.
