For those of you that have D3 Freezing after few hours

I had this problem for a month.. looked for fixes everywhere.. nothing worked.. not even disabling all plugins/ fresh install, admin priviledge, compatibility mode etc etc.
then i went into my ATI catalyst control centre and lowered my GPU Clock from 900mhz to 775mhz and.. its been 3 days striaght no crash. probably a possible fix?

I was using 5850CF with default overclock settings(which is no overclocking), and I still get the freezing issues, but not so often,it just happens every 1 or 2 days

i underclocked from my default values and now no freeze. try lowering it

Hey guys, just try what the thread creater telled you and say if it works.

no one cares how many ppls got the freeze problem..

dont be lazy and try it. if u dont have a overclocking software.. go download one.. and underclock ur gpu. no crash for me ever so far

I'm having those D3 crashes too. Yesterday even 10 minutes after leaving my pc. The other day I'm running it 24 hours without crash. Having a GTX560ti I tried to underclock it in Afterburner, does not make any difference for me.
