For those getting banned, was your honorbuddy exe and descrption changed?

For those getting banned are you using just regular honorbuddy.exe or have you renamed it and also resource edit to change the description like stated in http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/138210-rename-honorbuddy-guide-paranoid.html . I'm curious because I know a few people who got banned and the GM said they saw honorbuddy in the process when scanned wow.

The GM would never say what they found that they banned you for. If this is what you have been told then they are lying to you. Unless you were there to witness it I would never believe it happened.

i talked with a gm in live chat they told me, i was perma banned then got unbanned so boom believe it.

The GM would NEVER say that they saw your external processes. So no, I wont and I don't believe it.

Besides, , a 'live chat' gm who is not a part of the accounting/banning team anyway so wouldn't know his arse from his elbow regarding what technologies are used.

You're talking out your ass, blizzard are not allowed to scan outside of wow for programs running, nor are they allowed to read window names. Don't believe me, do some research. Also a GM will never give you a detailed reason why you where banned as it helps bot developers counter there measures.

I know what the GM told me in live chat I wish i would have screenshotted it to show you nonbelievers. Not that it matters though I've figured a way to hide a process completely in windows 64 bit I just havent tried it yet with HB active for long periods cause im paranoid of getting it banned regardless. Will probably try on a new account.

If blizz would be able to get the process name, we would have a shitton of threads within shortest time. People who rename the exe or insist they've gotten banned because of the process name, just show how stupid they are and how low their technically knowledge is.

I'm talking about being able to rename the DEP protected stuff as well read my first post pls. Not just renaming the exe while keeping the HB description. Doesnt matter though because the new HB is protected now so you can rename the description.

Do you seriously think, the buddy team wouldn't rename it on their own, if there would be the need to? This whole topic has just been started due to some people who are paranoid and now others jump on the train too. If blizzard would read out such stuff we all would already have been banned.
