For a couple days now i cant download the installer

i saw the posts where other people was getting the update freeze. i also got it and uninstalled and tried to reinstall but cant get the installer to initiate a download. i tried other ones just to check like honorbuddy etc. and they would start. Is the bot still down or does anyone know of a fix? reinstalling the visual c +++ did not do anytthing
