Using GatherBuddy2 with a 1-75 super basic profile.

Character is level 12.

No matter if I clear cache, edit the filters in WOW for the mounts, deselect the mount settings, IT WILL ALWAYS attempt to mount. ALWAYS.....

I used to write a lot of complicated scripts. I do not understand why I just purchased a years subscription and I have to deal with basic issues like this..............

My accomplishments thus far:

Loots: 0 (0/hr)
Honor Gained: 0 (0/hr)
Gold Gained: 0 (0/hr)

I reviewed his code in the file and it is very clean. Hardly anything in it. I can not see where he failed in his xml code. There is no overwrite for the mount feature as well. It should be working off of the settings which is disabled in the bot.

All that is there is your minlevel, maxlevel, factions, blackspots, hotspots. Very basic.

I went with this [GB2] Vorlof's Ground Durotar Herb + Mine 1-75 with Mailbox. Still having the same issue. Profiles are clean.

No idea Tony, it is still there as an issue. If I switch to Grind instead of Gatherbuddy2 it works.


I can tell you that if I get on any main with a flying mount. I have no issues. Any new character with no mount, it will not work.







I have tried everything with this application and I can't get anything to work with a level 1-19 character. All characters above 20 work just fine.
Is there any app that is free on the buddy store that will work? I have many owned free plugins and I can' t load any of them.

So for the gathering I have tried:

(GB2 1-75)(Elwynn.Alliance)Herb&Mining
[GB2][H+M][Mail+Repair] Vally of the Four Winds -- Ghost Iron Ore, Trillium, Golden Lotus + Herb
[GB2] Vorlof's Ground Durotar Herb + Mine 1-75 with Mailbox

Some others I have deleted. All produce the [Flightor] Mount up failed unexpectedly. Blacklisting current location.





So I decided to use the Buddy Store to select the free Plugins:

Studio Companion
1-110 Questing Profile Pack
Farming BotBase
theTramper ((all free verions))
Free Legion Quests


** When I select the Buddy Store Profile Browser - I get no data at all in that window. Ever....

I have no idea how to get these Buddy Store products to work. I have other products of yours and I have never had so many issues trying to get the simplest process to work. I can code advanced radar addons but can't get this application to work at all.





So I found a profile writer that actually has the install process at

THIS IS ONLY WITH GatherBuddy2 and ANY GB2 Profile.

I have taken the character to 20 and purchased the first riding skill. I turned on the mount settings in options. It will gather if the resource is displayed on my map.

If not, it will then make the call to mount (I suspect to fly) and I get the message:
[Flightor] Mount up failed unexpectedly. Blacklisting current location.






Questing works perfect with ANY profile.

Ok, so I took the character to 60 and purchased the flight master's license.

The xml script or any other script I had that was not working, is working now.


I would say you have a problem with the application's inability to use only ground mounts when it is selected in the settings and tools of the application. There should be no override for that.
