Flaws and Disadvantages.

Okay, so i bought a trial of 3 days for exile buddy to test it and buy full version if it works good, what i realised was:

1.Stuck Problems:

Most of the time character will run into a box or something and remain stuck there untill "stuck detection logout" doesnt
logout and create a new instance, also that same stuck detection logout isnt working right so mostly if you leave your
exilebuddy running thru the night you will realise it had only 3-5 runs when it stopped working because it got stuck somewhere and
stuck detection didnt work, so basicly its useless unless you are watching it the whole time (wich is nonsense because if im watching it, i can play myself without paying a bot to do work i can do much better).

2:User Interface

User interface is everything besides user friendy, item pickups, vendors and things you want to change demand you to learn all things about game like names and s*it,
making it almost impossible to make your own filters without knowing the whole game from top to bottom, unless a developer helps you out, but usually developer takes few days to just send a simple filter to help you and others.

3.Picking/Vendoring/Stashing

If you use exilebuddy on its default options bot will end but stashing really stupid items like lvl 52-60 wich arent worth anything (still dont know why does it stash those), also whole night botting would fill your stash up so hard that bot will stop working once its filled, usually takes only few runs, and doesnt give you any profit from farming.

After a deep thinking about this bot i realised its not usefull for players, unless players have a fetish on watching their bot play by itself and help him out when he gets stuck and manually sell items from stash.

Still, the biggest problem is stucking, however, after reading thru this forum i found like 100000 posts about people getting stucked and afking whole night, developers still didnt do anything about it.

The only thing I've not personally addressed myself to users is the knowledge required to bot in this game. That's just how this game is. It's a niche game that caters to a very specific crowd. The devs have been very clear on the notion of "figuring things out", so you do have to take time to lookup things and try to figure out various things (such as new recipes, features that aren't disclosed, etc...). There's nothing we can do to help users out in this regard, you need to understand how the game works to make the most out of it botting. If you'd like a much simpler game to bot, you should try out Diablo 3, as PoE is a lot more complex.

Other than that, the rest of the issues are known and being worked on. Sorry you feel we aren't doing enough, but we're doing the best we can with how this game works. :)
 
i do 150 run a night and rarely get stuck. (just leave dock go Library-archive) (and its only recently that the stuck detection isnt working) and for the other issue its mainly due to your lack of knowledge of the game and patience to make a good pick it by yourself, the bot work #1 for me with only minor fix thats should be taken care of in the few next week/months. programming a bot for a game like this isnt easy and if it was there would be more/better programme to do it.

Yes, game is complex wich i fully understand, but i dont want to spend time working on the bot like playing the game, bots use is to make game automated and easier for players, but instead of that i need to spend my time adjusting the bot to make it somewhat stable, since its everything but stable.

Having in mind that im developer myself I do know that with a little bit of working on the bot (making it easier to use and reading ur clients problems) will solve all the disadvantages this bot has, aside from that this bot seriously lacks support, like in my past post i said my problem and you said you are going to paste the example, but when i contacted you on pm, you said you need to work on it, so basicly, even you the core developer of the bot, need 2-3 days to adjust something and make it work.
 
The time spent trying to write filters for every person who PMs me, is better spent actually fixing the problem that needs you guys to PM me in the first place: Upcoming Item Filter changes. If you're a developer, then I don't think I need to do any more explaining in this thread. :)
 
50/50 on 28 FPS, no stuck issues, just dont bot areas that are close together, and have pots blacklisted as well.

Yeah, lets wait for that Item Filter, might fix 98% of my bot problems. :)
 
Docks is an annoying place to bot for any of the available PoE bots because of the barrels and stairs. You'd be better off botting in a wide, open area.
