FIX: BGs not queuing properly/Crash upon entering BG

This should work until Tony and the gang get a new version of HB out.

1: Go to (HB Install Folder)/Default Profiles/
2: Rename WSG.xml to WSGtmp.xml
3: Rename WSG.mesh to WSGtmp.mesh
4: Copy AV.xml and name WSG.xml
5: Copy AV.mesh and name WSG.mesh
6: Open WSG.xml (which used to be AV.xml) with a text editor (like Notepad) and replace the <Mesh Name="AV.mesh" ServerID="34" /> with <Mesh Name="WSG.mesh" ServerID="34" />
7: Run Honorbuddy
8: Use WSG/Mixed WSG mode instead of the usual AV/Mixed-AV

Note: Some users have said this will only temporarily fix the issue, eventually WoW/Hb start random queueing causing the game to crash.

Let me know if you run into any issues.

I have been using AV on my 80 Mage all night and it has been working fine but my 66 Rogue was messed up so I'll try this out, hopefully it will work until a fix is made.

Whenever i even hit the start bot button i get wowerror and both wow and HB crashes , seen that others have the same prob, any solution to this yet?

bah,it queues for av just fine but wont load the av meshes since they are renamed ;/

You need to edit the renamed file sow i tryes to open WSG.mesh.. And not AV.mesh...

mine is working great just rename the proflie to WSG and leave the mesh alone it will work fine just q for WSG thought it quit working but had my q going to av if u rename the mesh it will not work

Thought to just add here instead of creating new thread. i am chosing AV on HB and instead it queues for AB. Then it goes to the AB battleground and gets stuck.

Make sure u followed the directions in the first post. You need to select WSG as your BG within HB in order for it to properly queue for AV in WoW.

For those of you still having problems, after you complete step 5 above you need to:

1: open WSG.xml (which used to be AV.xml) with a text editor (like Notepad) and replace the <Mesh Name="AV.mesh" ServerID="34" /> with <Mesh Name="WSG.mesh" ServerID="34" />. So you're just switching the AV for a WSG, and now the program will know where to look.

2: Go to step 6 above.


Bam. Enjoy AV weekend.

Problem is sometimes it fixes itself temporarily and will queue/join wsg and just stand there

Yeah OP needs edit this thread. The fix only works a few times then it starts to randomly queue. Definitely do not recommend trying to bot with this unattended.

I could be wrong, but I noticed this start happening when I pulled up the battleground/pvp minitab to check my honor. I then looked on the battlegrounds, etc - after that point it will queue on other battlegrounds. If I start wow, the bot and do mixed mode and never check the honor (except through the currency tab) it works perfect.

Just found this out at my own toon aswell.. When I opened the honor tab: The next BG was AB instead of AV. Before checking honor it was chaining AV all the time!
