First timer help appreciated!

Hey I'm totally new to botting and I would love some help if possible. So my goal with botting is to level, I want to level my 80 chars to 90. Where should I start? What profile should I use for 80-85, would like to either farm or quest which ever is fastest. And would also love a guide on how to set the profile that you recommend up. <3 Thanks

There are 3 sets of profiles that offer levelling scripts from the stalwarts of the forum, Kicks 1-90, Cava's 1-90 and Brodie's Compendium. All 3 have had a great deal of work put into them. I use a mixture of all three, Kick's is the most popular. Just do a search and follow the instructions.

You can farm using gatherbuddy, but I have no experience with that, steering clear due to numerous recent ban reports.

A quick how to lvl:
What lvl is your current chars? (It's lvl XX aka. 80 in this case) so you should go under the 80-85 profiles ..
What is your faction? (It's either horde or alliance, depending on your character's faction.. pick one of them.)
How can i lvl? There are; Questing profiles, Grinding profiles, archaeology, Battlegrounds, etc. etc. etc.
Pick one of the above, (i intentionally didn't tell you which one to go for, because it's in my opinion that people got to learn it themself.. build up your own knowledge of the bot and it's capabilities.. and work from there)
Now! you should have chosen a suitable profile, put it inside your HB folder (i put mine in my default profiles folder).
Load up HB.exe
Look back at the profile page, and see if it's a questing profile or grinding profile (or w/e it is)
pick the appropiate botbase (up in the top right corner.)
aka. I have chosen a grinding profile, so i pick grind bot in the bot bases.
Load profile, (pick the one you've chosen)
fiddle with the settings (those are selfexplanatory)
hit start

Botanist's grinding profiles should be safe and nearly 100% AFK'able. Dungeonbuddy is also AFK'able and safe. Questing isn't really AFK'able no matter whose profiles you are using.
