Firelands run (or at least to alysrazor)

searched the forums and HB store, couldnt find anything.

At level 100 all the bosses are pretty much tank and spank except for beth and a minor fly mechanic for alysrazor where you have to pick up 3 feathers before you rape her ass. I run this weekly on 4 alts for the mounts from alysrazor and rag, and im sure that most everybody who plays the game does as well. I've yet to see any profiles that run this raid. I'm not sure if that's because of a technical issue or what but I'm sure everybody would agree that they would love to bot this place for (in my opinion) the coolest mounts in the game!

PS I wouldn't mind pathing a profile myself that goes straight to alysrazor if I knew how. Back in the glider days I knew it was as simple as pressing "record" on a waypoint plugin and running it back and it would work. Not sure if that's how HB works though because this bot is a lot more sophisticated than macro mashing.

Please let me (and everybody else interested) know if this is possible. At the very least to alysrazor!
 
i was working on this but dropped it, very hard to code them 2 fights also the mesh in that place is in need of a complete rework, i hope Studio60 will make a profile i seen he has been making a lot of old raid profiles

u cant use a plugin to record waypoints in here the reason is the mesh is in need of a rework, a lot of ppl are reporting deaths in my firelands trash run that are due to this and there is not much i can do about it
 
excuse my noobicity but what is mesh? based on context clues im assuming its something dealing with the pathing and objects in firelands.. if this is true, does that mean all meshing done on hb and profiles are user made?
 
mesh is what u said pathing and objects, it allows the bot to get to were u want without getting stuck the files are saved here

C:\Users\Dellza\AppData\Local\Bossland\Honorbuddy\Meshes

HB team makes the meshs they need to update it but not many ppl are reporting this place even tho they talk about it on the forums
 
ah okay that makes sense. and yea as popular as firelands still is to run every week, i feel like this would have been done long ago! but then again I'm no expert on meshing so I dont know how hard it is to do. I would assume its difficult tho lol. hopefully they see that people want this and figure it out for us!
 
I believe Revir has a profile for Firelands. It's in his Gather -Omation pack, not sure if you can get it separately or if it even fully works.

You'd need to ask him or somebody else who has bought it.

Trueman just finished our Firelands profile, and he did a really good job... but it's gonna be a part of all the heroic dungeons + raids, and it's likely going to be paid on the store just because of how long it took him. If you want a free one you'll have to sit tight for I think dellza who's doing it. It's just a massive pain for many reasons, the main being boss alive checks and the second being a lack of meshing.
 
sounds good, i would totally buy it if its set at a reasonable price. the whole 20euro for a pack of profiles is absurd sometimes... it would be nice if its available standalone for like 5 euros or something along those lines... I've spent about $80-$100 on HB stuff including routines and bot bases so i don't mind spending money if its worth it. I just think some things are overpriced or the way some things are bundled in the store it would be nice to have an option to buy single profiles instead of a pack of them.
 
I've added this to my todo projects but uncertain when I'll have time for it.
 
Should be much easier to work on now that it's finally meshed, I know Trueman was pretty excited that he could get rid of the CTMs :D
